SUMMARY:Visit to College of Forestry\, Ponnampet
DESCRIPTION:As a part of Social Connect & responsibility course\, second year students were taken to College of Forestry\, Ponnampet on 18th January 2023. The main objective of the visit was to create awareness among the students on plantation of trees and its importance. Dr. Jadegowda\, Professor\, College of Forestry\, addressed the students and gave an insight on environment and its phenomena\, planting the trees and its protection. He also emphasized to enrich the sacred forest. After the talk\, students visited the Botanical Garden and Apiculture Center in the college campus.
