DESCRIPTION:The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning\, under its student association Avinyam\, organized Shaurya Diwas on 9th September 2025 at 10:30 AM in the Seminar Hall to honor the valor and sacrifices of India’s brave soldiers. The program featured Colonel Amar Jeet Singh\, Principal of Sainik School Kodagu\, as the Chief Guest\, with the presence of distinguished dignitaries including Dr. Ramakrishna B B (Head of Department\, AI & ML)\, Dr. M C Kariappa (President\, KES)\, and Ms. Neelam Thimmaiah (President\, Avinyam)\, while the Guest of Honour was Prof. Thimmaiah A G\, Incharge Principal of CIT. The event paid special tribute to Param Vir Chakra Captain Vikram Batra (1974–1999)\, the Kargil hero remembered for his immortal words\, “Either I will come back after hoisting the Tricolour\, or I will come back wrapped in it\, but I will be back for sure.” The program included an invocation\, patriotic performances\, addresses by dignitaries\, a presidential address\, and a vote of thanks.
