SUMMARY:Installation Ceremony & Engineers Day Celebration
DESCRIPTION:The Department of Computer Science and Engineering\, celebrated Engineers’ Day and organized the Installation Ceremony of Technova Student Association 2025-26 on 15th September 2025.\nThe program began at the Kaveri Statue with floral tributes to Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya\, followed by a cultural performance symbolizing the four-year journey of engineering. Principal Dr. M Basavaraj addressed the gathering\, highlighting the values of Sir M. Visvesvaraya and inspiring students to uphold responsibility as future engineers.\nThe Installation Ceremony held in the Seminar Hall featured the release of the annual Newsletter\, report presentation by Prof. Kirthan K M\, and badge distribution to newly elected association members. Principal Dr.M Basavaraj\, in his detailed address\, appreciated the department’s activities and encouraged students to take up interdisciplinary projects\, assuring that the management is ready to fund innovative initiatives The Principal was then honored by the department for his continuous encouragement\, support\, and visionary leadership that has guided both faculty and students to achieve excellence.\nThe Oath Taking was administered by Prof. Daina K K\, HOD of CSE. Chief Guest Mr. Chandrashekar B S\, Senior Manager\, Accenture\, Bengaluru delivered a detailed address\, inspiring students with his talk on skill development\, adaptability\, and innovation in engineering. He stressed the need for continuous learning and keeping pace with technological advancements. Mr. Chandrashekar B \, was also honoured by the dignitaries present on the dais.\nThe event concluded with a Vote of Thanks\, marking the celebration as a meaningful tribute to Sir M. Visvesvaraya and a promising beginning for Technova 2025-26.
