DESCRIPTION:The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning\, under the AVINYAM Student Association\, organized the Information Search and Presentation (ISAP) program for 3rd semester students on 14th and 15th October 2025 at MLH 201. The event was conducted with the presence of Prof. Thimmaiah A G\, HoD Of Mechanical Engineering\, as the Chief Guest. The program aimed to enhance students’ research abilities\, presentation skills\, and confidence by encouraging them to explore and present innovative ideas. Participants actively engaged in information gathering and effective communication\, demonstrating creativity and analytical thinking. The event served as a valuable platform for skill development and knowledge sharing. The department appreciates the efforts of the organizers and participants for making the program a successful and enriching learning experience.

SUMMARY:National Level Hackathon Hacknova
DESCRIPTION:The Department under the banner of its Students’ Association – Technova\, organized a 24-hour National Level Hackathon – Hacknova 1.O on 15th and 16th October 2025. The event\, themed “Think Fast\, Build Faster\, Innovate Forever\,” brought together talented innovators from across the country to design and develop solutions in the domains of Robotics\, Internet of Things (IoT)\, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).The Hackathon was coordinated by Prof. Kirthan K M.The jury panel for the hackathon comprised eminent personalities — Dr. Shiva Prakash S. P.\, Professor and Head\, Department of IS&E\, JSS STU\, Mysuru; Dr. Sanjay Kumar C. K.\, Associate Professor and Head\, Department of MCA\, NIE\, Mysuru; and Mr. Brijesh C. A.\, CEO of Just Robotics\, Bengaluru. The winner prize of Rs. 25\,000 was bagged by team Justice Gang of JSS STU Mysuru and the runner up of the Hacknova was team Mall Matrix of BMS and Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering Bengaluru and was rewarded with Rs. 15\,000. Team GCEK of Government College of Engineering Kerala secured best innovation prize of Rs. 5000 and team AURA of JSS STU Mysuru received Best problem statement cash prize of Rs. 5000. \n     \n
