DESCRIPTION:The Department of Computer Science and Engineering hosted a technical talk titled “Introduction to Artificial Intelligence” on  the 22nd of October 2024 in the second floor seminar Hall on the second floor seminar hall. The program was organized for second and third year students. The Chief Guest of the event was Mr.Biddappa C M\, Director\, DataScience MiQ\, Bengaluru. Sri. Biddappa C M’s talk on “Introduction to Artificial Intelligence” provided a comprehensive overview of AI\, covering its definition\, historical context\, core concepts like machine learning and natural language processing\, and various algorithms such as decision trees and neural networks.

SUMMARY:Technova “Tech Zenith”
DESCRIPTION:The Students’ Association “Technova” of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering  organized a technical seminar to students’ entitled “Tech Zenith” on the 14th of November 2024. The seminar was organized for the students of the 3rd semester. The seminar conducted witnessed active participation from students showcasing their technical acumen and research capabilities. The jury members were namely Dr. Yathiraj G R\, HOD\, Department of CS&E(Cyber Security)\, Prof. Vignesh TV and Prof. Sethulaxmi \, Assistant Professors from the Department of AI&ML and AI&DS respectively. A total of 64 students participated in the Technical Seminar. Harshith AK bagged the first prize and Dona Mitchel bagged the second prize. Participation certificates were distributed to all the student.

DESCRIPTION:On 22nd November 2024\, 60 students from 5th semester Computer Science and Engineering along with 3 faculty members of Coorg Institute of Technology visited Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO)\, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited(HAL)\, Bengaluru.\, Karthik M Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ at Human Space Flight Centre\, ISRO Bengaluru\, gave insights to students and faculties about the how the ISRO is involved in satellite making and how it evolved as one of the leading organizations in space craft making. The industrial visit to the HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) Heritage Centre and Aerospace Museum was organized to provide Students with a unique opportunity to explore the rich history and technological advancements of the aerospace industry in India.
