Prof. Kishen Karumbaiah B J\, Spoke on evolution of Additive Manufacturing Technology (AMT)\, Application areas\, career potential\, current developments in the technology. The session was followed by preparing CAD Models for demonstration by Prof. Aravind Appanna K E using Autodesk Inventor. Machine part created using CAD model was printed using 3-D printer and students were educated on the printing process during operation.
