DESCRIPTION:One day Workshop on 3D Printingwas organised for students of Cauvery Polytechnic\, Gonikoppa on 10th October 2022. The outreach program was conducted with a motto of imparting knowledge on modern manufacturing techniques and exposure to 3D printing technology. Prof. Kishen Karumbaiah B J\, Spoke on evolution of Additive Manufacturing Technology (AMT)\, Application areas\, career potential\, current developments in the technology. The session was followed by preparing CAD Models for demonstration by Prof. Aravind Appanna K E using Autodesk Inventor. Machine part created using CAD model was printed using 3-D printer and students were educated on the printing process during operation.
