DESCRIPTION:An engaging competition was organized for 3rd semester students to strengthen their skills in research\, critical analysis\, and effective presentation. The inaugural function was held on Monday\, 9th September 2024 at 10:30 AM in MLH 201\, with Dr. M Basavaraj\, Principal\, serving as the Chief Guest. The competition was judged by Prof. Muralidhar B M and Prof. Babitha P K\, who provided valuable feedback and encouragement to the participants. Demonstrating outstanding performance\, Deekshith K B secured the first prize\, followed by B Prakyath Prathap in second place\, and Varshitha B R in third. The competition was a rewarding experience that helped students enhance both their intellectual and communication capabilities.

SUMMARY:New Beginning to the Aspiring Technocrats- Induction Programme
DESCRIPTION: Induction program for the first year students\, batch of 2024-25 was conducted from 17th September- 28th September\, 2024.Orientation Programme was conducted on the first day to induct students into the professional course.  Students were briefed about the college activities and were  motivated to  chalk out a road map of their life and career as they stepped into a new phase of life.  Mr. Sundar K S \, Associate Vice President of Infosys was the chief guest of the occasion. Sri Rakesh Poovaiah\, Secretary\, Kodava Education Society ( KES) and Sri K N Uthappa\, Treasurer\, KES were present on the occasion along with Dr M Basavaraj\, Principal\, CIT\, Prof Anuradha P J\, Basic Science -HOD and the HODs of various departments were present.

SUMMARY:Installation ceremony of Student Association Technova
DESCRIPTION:The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized an installation ceremony of the Student Association -Technova on 27th September 2024 for the academic year 2024-25 in third floor seminar hall. The installation ceremony of the Student Association was graced by the presence of Major Rohan Kuttappa as the Chief Guest. A glimpse video was shown that captured the highlights of previous Technova events which was a way to get the audience excited about the upcoming events and to showcase the success of past events. A report was presented by Prof. Sangana Koti Reddy on the previous Technova events which included information on the events conducted\, number of participants. Badges were distributed to all the newly elected office bearers of the Student Association which was a way to identify and create a sense of community. The newly elected office bearers took an oath to uphold the values of the Technova association.

Participants\, in teams of up to three members\, created intricate floral designs using only flowers and leaves\, showcasing their creativity and teamwork. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students across various years. Team Tesla Brothers (1st year)\, comprising Varshith\, Dhyan\, and Thaneesh\, secured the first place\, followed by Team Avesham (3rd year) with members Pooja\, Monika\, and Asif in second place. Team Ulsavam (3rd year)\, represented by Madhumitha\, Trisha Raj\, and Sri Lakshmi\, claimed the third place\, while Team Malar (2nd year)\, featuring Muktha Nayak\, Ananya M R\, and Ann Jose\, received a consolation prize.
