An Industrial Visit to Hemavathi Reservoir, Jack well pumphouse and Water Treatment Plant, Gorur, Hassan was organized on 17th March 2025 to the students of the department with an objective of providing practical exposure to hydraulic structures, sequential stages involved in the water treatment process. The visit enhanced the students’ theoretical knowledge with practical experience, offering them a better understanding on process involved in production and distribution of potable water. The interaction with site engineers further enriched their learning experience, making the visit both educational and informative.
