Three days Workshop on “Advanced LabVIEW”:
A three-day workshop titled “Advance LabVIEW” was conducted by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering for third-semester students from 30/01/2022 to 01/02/ 2023, with the goal of bridging the knowledge gap between the academic curriculum and industrial practice. The resource person was Mr. Manjunatha V.R, Embedded Software Specialist, CS Group, Montreal, Canada and this practical session was attended by 49 students in total.
LabVIEW is a graphical programming language used for simulation as well as building real-world systems in association with NI modules. LabVIEW software is very much relevant to Communication, Electronics, Data Acquisition, Signal Processing, Instrumentation, Control and Industrial Automation. The objective of this hands-on training is to get advanced experience in handling and developing LabVIEW based applications to solve core engineering problems.
The resource person, Mr. Manjunatha also gave an overview of how industrial challenges are solved using LabVIEW by referencing actual difficulties from real-world applications toward the end of the workshop.
