With respect to the India’s G20 presidency AICTE proposed to conduct various events under “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” or One Earth One Family One Future closely lies with LIFE (Life style for Environment) with a focus on sustainable and environment friendly life styles, harmony within the human family and honest conversations about climate change and global security.

Eco Club and Health & Hygiene Maintenance Committee organized “Painting Competition” on 20/02/2023. The themes of the competition were “Sustainable and Environment Friendly Life Styles” & “Honest Conversations About Climate Change”.

There were 23 participants for the event. Participants were instructed to choose any one of the themes mentioned above. The paintings done by the participants were judged by Prof. Pramukh Ganapathy, HOD Civil Dept. Prof. Kirthan, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering, Prof. Dechakka M P, Dept. of Electronics and Communication, Prof. Anjali, Dept of Basic Science, Mr. Chittiappa A U, Foreman Dept of Mechanical Engineering.

The paintings done by the participants were creative and expressive. Ideas executed by the participants were highly appreciated.

The decision regarding the winners was made on the basis of the following criteria:

1. Relevant to theme
2. Clarity
3. Uniqueness
4. Composition of colors

The winners of the painting competition were:

First Place: Sadhu J – AI&ML.

Second Place: Chondamma K T – Mechanical Engineering.

Third Place: Deepika Nachappa N – AI&ML.
