The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, under the AVINYAM Student Association, inaugurated a six-day certification course on “Deep Learning using PyTorch and TensorFlow” on 27th January 2026 at the 3rd Floor AI & ML Lab, in association with Thaniya Technologies, Mangaluru. The inaugural session was graced by Mr. Shailesh Shetty S, Director of Thaniya Technologies, as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Srinivas P. M, Chief Technology Officer of Thaniya Technologies, as the Guest of Honour. The function was presided over by Dr. M. Basavaraj, Principal, CIT. The program aimed to equip students with practical knowledge of deep learning frameworks and their real-world applications. The session marked the beginning of an intensive learning experience focused on emerging technologies and industry-relevant skills. The department expresses its sincere gratitude to the dignitaries and industry experts for their support and guidance in making the inauguration a successful and enriching event.
