he Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, in association with AVINYAM – Student Association, organized the Inaugural Ceremony of the Workshop on “Advances in Machine Learning” exclusively for 7th Semester AI & ML students. The workshop was conducted on 15th September 2026 to 19^th September 2026 at 9:30 AM at MLH-101. The programme was graced by Dr. Ramakrishna B. B., Head of the Department of AI & ML, who represented the department during the inaugural ceremony. Mr. Vignesh T. V., Assistant Professor, Department of CSE (AIML), Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering, Mysuru, served as the Resource Person. The workshop focused on enhancing students’ understanding of recent advancements, emerging techniques, and practical applications of Machine Learning. The session provided students with valuable insights into current developments in the field and helped bridge the gap between academic concepts and real-world applications.
