The department organized Vanyajeevotsavah to commemorate World Wildlife Day 2025, themed “Together for Wildlife: Save Species, Save Earth!”. The event aimed to create awareness about wildlife conservation and the need to protect endangered species. “Code Fix – 2025” was held on 11th April, where students actively participated in competitive coding and debugging challenges to strengthen practical programming knowledge.
An exciting Inter-Department Hockey Tournament took place on 21 April 2025 at 2:00 PM in the CIT Hockey Ground, showcasing strong performances and teamwork. The tournament provided a platform for students to display their sporting talent and competitive spirit.

An industrial visit to Infosys Limited, Mysuru, was organized for the 7th-semester students on 30th October 2025. The purpose of this visit was to provide students with practical exposure to the working environment of a leading IT company and to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industry practices.
The event ICONIQ was conducted on Tuesday, 4th November 2025 as an interactive and engaging challenge focused on identifying logos of AI tools, technology brands, and prominent personalities. The activity aimed to test participants’ visual memory, brand recognition skills, and quick reasoning using descriptive clues instead of actual images.
